One feature of this 1999 blogging system is the push updates. When I make a change to one of my stories, whoever has the blog home or story page open will immediately see the change. 

As careful a writer as I am, I often make spelling or grammar mistakes in my online posts.

So knowing that you'll get to see my corrections right away -- without having to reload the page, which you wouldn't know to do -- makes me appreciate 1999 even more.
